June is the National Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month in the United States and for that reason, we’ve decided to delve into this topic a bit deeper. We’ve compiled a list of interesting fact about this disease, as well as some facts about the senior brain. So, here they are:
If you would like to play your part in raising awareness about the Alzheimer’s disease, you can join more than 40 million people in the Purple Pledge. By wearing purple in June, you’re showing your support to the people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other brain issues.
But, if you wish to transfer that awareness into action and actually do something to make the lives of Alzheimer’s patients and their families more bearable, you can donate money to an organization dealing with this issue. Or, you can do your part by sharing the knowledge about the Alzheimer’s, particularly the things related to prevention of this disease.
If your senior loved one is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or any other brain disease and you want to how home health care services can help, call us today.
